Talks, then lightning talks
Six 12-minute talks, plus three 5-minute lightning talks from students. Every talk ends with one thing you can try on Monday.
● AI talks · 14 March 2027 · Puerto Princesa
One evening, six short talks and three lightning talks on what AI can actually do for the Philippines, from rice fields and clinics to classrooms and code.
01 What to expect
Short talks you can follow without a PhD, demos you can touch, and the people building with AI right here.

1
One long table at the end of the night to meet the speakers and local teams. Hiring, collaborating or just curious, sit down.
02 Speakers
Researchers, builders and one very busy shop owner. Each gets twelve minutes and one slide of rules: no hype.
Speakers and talks are fictional for this demo. Avatars are generated patterns, not photos.
03 Agenda
Doors at five, last talk before nine. Filter by what you came for.
04 Tickets
Three hundred seats. Student tickets need a school ID at the door.
05 Venue & FAQ
Mixed on purpose. Every talk is written for someone who uses AI tools but has never trained a model. Engineers will still find the demo floor worth the trip.
A light dinner is included with General and Builder tickets. Coffee and water are free for everyone.
Yes. Recordings go up a week after the event, with slides and the links each speaker mentions.
The three lightning slots are for students. Send a title and three sentences by 1 March and we'll reply within the week.
An afternoon workshop before doors open (building a small assistant on your own laptop), a reserved table at the long table, and dinner.
