Service 02 / 07 · Mobile Apps

Mobile apps that keep working when the signal doesn’t.

In Palawan, the people using an app may be on a boat, on a mountain road or in a barangay with one bar of signal. We build mobile apps for those conditions first, because an app that works there works everywhere.

01 · What you get

What you get.

One codebase serves both iOS and Android. Data is saved on the device and synced when a connection returns, so field work never waits for the network.

  1. 01

    iOS and Android

One cross-platform codebase for both stores, so features arrive on every phone at the same time.

  2. 02

    Offline-first sync

Work is saved on the phone and synced later, with conflicts handled so nothing is lost.

  3. 03

    Push notifications

Reminders, notices and alerts that reach people even when the app is closed.

  4. 04

    Device features

GPS tagging, the camera, Bluetooth printers and scanners where the work needs them.

  5. 05

    Store release

We prepare the listings and handle submission to the App Store and Google Play.

02 · How we approach it

Built for the way it will be used.

  1. 01

Test where it will be used

We try the app in the conditions it will meet: low signal, bright sun, gloved hands and old phones.

  2. 02

    Simple enough for day one

Field staff should learn it in an afternoon. Fewer screens, clear words, big targets.

  3. 03

    Built alongside your systems

Apps that talk to your existing records, billing or web system instead of becoming another island of data.

04 · Questions

Before you ask.

Will the app work without internet?

Where it matters, yes. We design offline-first: work is saved on the phone and synced when the connection returns. Poseidon’s meter reader app works this way.

Do you build for both iPhone and Android?

Yes. We use one cross-platform codebase, so both platforms get the same features and fixes.

Can the app print receipts or use a scanner?

Yes. We connect apps to Bluetooth printers, barcode scanners, GPS and the camera when the job needs them.
